You came here to answer a question, not to become a product. We collect as little as we can and explain it in English.

• Voting does not require an account.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• When you vote, we see that a vote happened — not a dossier about you.
• If you subscribe, we send the Question of the Day as a browser notification.
• You can unsubscribe at any time.

What we collect

When you vote: the question, your option, the time, a browser signal to limit repeat votes, and basic server data such as IP, browser type, and approximate location.

When you subscribe: your browser asks “Allow notifications?” If you allow it, we store a unique token for that browser and send a daily web push. If you unsubscribe, we remove the token.

Like most sites, we also use Google Analytics, cookies or local storage for vote state, and logs of pages visited, device type, and approximate country.

What we do not do

• We do not require your name to vote.
• We do not ask for a phone number, payment card, or government ID.
• We do not sell lists of users.
• We do not use your vote to target political ads.
• We do not publish “John in Ohio voted B.” Results are totals, not portraits.

Cookies and resetting a vote

The site remembers if you already answered, so one person is not a crowd. That memory lives in your browser. Clearing site data may make us treat you as a new visitor.

How long we keep things

• Public totals stay with the question.
• Individual vote records are kept only as long as needed to run the meter and prevent abuse.
• Subscription tokens stay until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs rotate on a normal schedule.

Who else can see data

Hosting, analytics, and security processors get only what they need. We share information if the law requires it, or to protect the site against abuse.

Children

Feel-O-Meter is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Answer or skip a question.
• Allow or block notifications.
• Reset an answer or clear site data.
• Ask us to delete information collected from you.
